Hey. My name is Ali, short for Alice. I write.

That’s me trying to be brief. But that’s really not my style. I like to paint with words, crafting intricate scenes, ones that encourage my readers to pull their own experiences into our shared spaces. I write short stories, yes, but I much prefer working on my novels. My first one is complete and in editing. I’m randomly drafting chapters of two more.

I wanted to make a little home on the web to post about my works in progress, about writing and the craft, occasionally about music (something I also do, but terribly), and other odds and ends.
